Summary
The aim of this work is to create a short overview of possible influencing the risk for fractures and their pathogenesis by non-pharmacological means. Also, an overview of basic information about the mechanism of the strain acting on the bone, and the effect of different types of exercise on the bone, muscle mass and the risk of falling alone.
