Antidepresivum LI 160 (Jarsin©) - standardizovaný extrakt z Hypericumperforatum L

Přípravek LI 160 (Jarsin©) je standardizovaným extraktem z třezalky tečkované (Hypericum perforatum L.). Jeho antidepresivní účinek byl prokázán ve studiích kontrolovaných placebemi standardními antidepresivy u lehkých a středních depresí. Ve vyšších dávkách byl jeho účinekověřen rovněž u těžkých depresí. Vykazuje velmi příznivý profil nežádoucích účinků a není kardiotoxický. Vzhledem k indukci enzymu P450 jsou možné interakce s léky, které jsou tímto systémem odbourávány. Nejpravděpodobněji je mechanismus antidepresivního působení LI 160 zprostředkován kombinovanou blokádou vychytávání serotoninu, noradrenalinu i dopaminu.

Preparation LI 160 (Jarsin©) is a standardized extract of Hypericum perforatum L. Its antidepressant effect was proved in controlled studies with placebo and standard antidepressants in mildand medium severe depressions. In larger doses its effect was tested also in severe depressions. Inlarger doses its effect was tested also in severe depressions. It has a very favourable profile asregards undesirable effects and is not cardiotoxic. Due to induction of enzyme P450, interactionswith drugs which are brokem down by this system are possible. Most probably the mechanism ofthe antidepressant action of LI 160 is mediated by a combined block of serotonin, noradrenalineand dopamine uptake.
