V práci sa poukazuje na vzťah kanabinoidov, kanabinoidného receptorového systémua psychóz. Uvádzajú sa historické poznámky a epidemiologické údaje. Výraznejšia pozornosť savenuje možným funkciám kanabinoidného receptorového systému a vzťahu kanabinoidných receptorovk psychózam, zvlášť ku schizofrénii. Overview

Recent information about cannabinoids, cannabiniod receptors and their relation to psychosis,especially to schizophrenia are summarized in this work. Some historical and epidemiologicalnotes are also presented.Recent knowledge about possible function of cannabinoid receptor system and about its relationshipto the development of psychoses or to relapse of psychoses is reviewed. The first informationabout possible therapeutic applications in connection to the new information in this field ismentioned.
