Mnohé psychofarmaká menia architektúru EEG najmä u predisponovaných jedincov. EEGabnormality sa vyskytujú pri liečbe antipsychotikami I. aj II. generácie. Uvádzame niektoré postupy,ktorými je potrebné sa riadiť pri minimalizovaní vzniku EEG abnormalít.
