Summary

The authors describe two cases of intensively itching lichenoid dermatitis developed after an injury caused by a sea coral while diving in the Red Sea. The rash reacted to topical steroid and antihistamine treatment. In the first case a partial improvement occurred within two weeks, in the other patient dermatological lesions persisted for more than a month. The article gives an overview of skin lesions caused by the sea corals and their therapy.
