Summary
The authors describe a case of a 69-year-old man with a 5-month history of slowly growing periungual lesion on the index finger of the right hand. Histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of superficial acral fibromyxoma. The surgical excision is the treatment of choise. The article presents current knowledge of diagnostics, treatment and follow-up of patients with this rare entity.
