Modelling the Development of Body Height (Length) in Children Using Parental Height Data

Summary
The presented paper aims to introduce the pediatrician audience to the Dynamic Phenotype Method and to show the advantages of its use in everyday practice.
Method:
On a selected subsample from the ELSPAC longitudinal study the methodological and graphical application of Dynamic Phenotype Method is shown.
Results:
The result of the paper is presenting the Dynamic Phenotype Method and its reliability to the pediatrician public.
Conclusion:
The Dynamic Phenotype Method is reliable when used to construct individual growth curves to at least 95% and allows processing and prediction of individual growth parameters in the pediatrician’s office.
