Fatal Haemorrhage into the GIT - Can it be Influenced?
Smrtelná krvácení do GIT- lze je ovlivnit?
Prudká krvácení do trávicího ústrojí jsou vážné, život ohrožující stavy. Ani kvalitní specializo-vaná péče nemůže vždy odvrátit nepříznivý průběh příhody nebo úmrtí nemocných, u nichžkrvácení vedlo k rozvinutí hemoragického šoku. Závažnost problematiky autoři demonstrují napopisu ošetření tří nemocných, kteří prudkému krvácení do horní části GIT podlehli. Po rozboruaktuálních diagnostických a terapeutických přístupů uzavírají, že důležitými faktory ovlivňu-jícími přežití jsou čas a zajištění přednemocniční péče.

Massive GIT bleeding is a life-threating condition. Even high-quality specialized treatment canprevent neither an unfavourable course nor death in patients with advanced haemorrhagicshock. Authors describe three case-reports with a fatal outcome to demonstrate the importanceof this condition. After a review of present diagnosis and therapy the authors conclude that boththe time and pre-hospital care are the main factors influencing the patient’s survival.
