Treatment of Cutaneous Mastocytosis
Liečba kutánnej mastocytosis
Autori sledovali liečbu 30 pacientov s kutánnou mastocytosis. V priebehu 6 mesiacov až 1 roka pozorovali v dôsledku terapie 20-60 % regresiu mastocytárnych infiltrátov kória. Pacienti boli liečený jednak lokálne kortikosteroidnými externami aplikovanými 1 až 2 razy a jednak celkove ketotifenom v kombinácii s H-1 a H-2 antihistaminikami. Traja pacienti, ktorý okrem kutánnej mastocytosis mali aj systémovú formu ochorenia užívali perorálne kortikosteroidy v dennej dávke 0,5-1,0 mg/kg váhy. Ani v jednom prípade sa ochorenie nevyvinulo do formy život ohrozujúcej a ani v jednom prípade nevznikli život ohrozujúce komplikácie liečby mastocytosis.

Summary
The authors investigated the treatment of 30 patients with cutaneous mastocytosis. In the course of six months to one year they observed as a result of treatment a 20-60 % regression of mastocytic infiltrates of the corium. The patients were treated locally by external corticosteroid preparations applied once or twice and by systemic treatment with ketotifene combined with H1 and H2 antihistaminics. Three patients who suffered in addition to cutaneous mastocytosis also from the systemic form of the disease used oral corticosteroids in doses of 0.5-1.0 mg/kg body weight/day. In none of the patients the disease developed into a life threatening form and in none of the patients complications of treatment of mastocytosis threatening the patient’s life were recorded.
Key words:
