Prognostic Importance of AssessmentTotal Protein, Albumin and Cholesterol in Blood Plasma and Ascites in Patients with LiverCirrhosis
Prognostický význam vyšetreniacelkových bielkovín, albumínua cholesterolu v sére a asciteu pacientov s cirhózou pečene
Cieľ práce:
Zistiť, či vyšetrenie celkových bielkovín, albumínu a cholesterolu v sére a ascite máprognostický význam u pacientov s cirhózou pečene.Súbor pacientov a metodika: 169 cirhotikom (99 mužov, 70 žien) s vekovým priemerom52,63±8,02 roka sme vykonali punkciu ascitu. Priemerné Childovo-Pughovej skóre bolo10,41±3,02 bodov. 4 pacienti boli v skupine A, 59 pacientov v skupine B a 106 pacientov voskupine C podľa Childovej-Pughovej klasifikácie. Do skupiny 1 sme zaradili pacientov, ktorív priebehu liečby zomreli (40 pacientov), do skupiny 2 sme zaradili pacientov, ktorí boliv zlepšenom stave prepustení do ambulantnej starostlivosti (129 pacientov). Pacienti v skupine1 mali vyššie Childovo-Pughovej skóre ako pacienti 2 (12,50±2,88 resp. 9,76±3,03, p

Summary
The aim of the study:
To assess if values of total protein, albumin and cholesterol in blood plasmaand ascites do have prognostic significance in patients with liver cirrhosis.Patients and methods: Paracentesis was performed in 169 patients with liver cirrhosis (99males, 70 females, median 52.63±8.02 years). Median Child-Pugh score was 10.41±3.02 points.Four patients were in class A, 59 in class B, and 106 patients in class C of the Child-Pughclassification. Group 1: patients who died during treatment (40 patients), group 2: patients whowere discharged in better condition after treatment (129 patients). Patients in group 1 were inhigher Child-Pugh class than patients in group 2 (12.50±2.88 and 9.76±3.03, respectively,p
