Summary
The article deals with the concept of integrated care, its components, starting points and the main reasons for why integration of care is becoming a necessity in current systems of healthcare and social care. At least some high level knowledge of these matters is necessary no just for research for any practical efforts to integrate healthcare and social care out in the field.
