Summary
Gastrointestinal bleeding is a serious and life-threatening condition. Geriatric patients are the most affected group in terms of survival. The frequency of bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract increases with age. Fast and effective treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding therapy significantly affect prognosis.
