Treatment of hyperlipoproteinemia and hypolipidemics from the perspective of the reviewing

Summary

The subject of the article is the experiences of control activity in the field of hyperlipoproteinemie treatment as it is conducted in the specialized centers for biological treatment (ATC C10AX13 and C10AX14). It monitors the method of diagnosis, prescription and records in the medical documentation, which testify to a lax approach to the issue and a completely insufficient emphasis on the fundamental prerequisite of care, i.e. adjusting the patient’s lifestyle and recommended procedures according to the rules of the cardiology professional society and the reimbursement condition of SÚKL. All this makes the cost-effectiveness of the disease extremely expensive and creates burden on the public health insurance reimbursement system.
