Summary

In vitro maturation (IVM) of oocytes is a method of infertility treatment used in human medicine from the end of the 80ties of the last century. This is a safe possibility of infertility treatment of women at the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome(OHSS), low responders and is lowering the costs for infertility treatment by IVF.

Key words:
in vitro maturation (IVM) – polycystic ovaries (PCO) – ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS)
