Summary
Mayer’s support pessary is a circular plexiglass or hardened resin pessary. It had previously been frequently used for cervical incompetence during pregnancy. At present, it has been sporadically used as a conservative solution for vaginal prolapse in very old women. A case report of 65-year-old woman shows a rare complication when Mayer’s pessary is used for vaginal prolapse.
