Summary
Insufficient prevention and screening of oncogynecological diseases in a population of socially disadvantaged and excluded women presents a significant social and health care issue. A concept that would enable addressing this problem at least at an elementary level has not been introduced as yet in the Czech Republic, as opposed e.g. to the USA. As a result, most sick homeless women only get medical attention in a terminal stage of their illness.
Key words:
homeless women – oncogynecological diseases – prevention
