Summary
The problem in human motion is the control. For the choice of unique motion paradigms from the great variability of possible motion execution is often used the term Bernstein’s problem. Functional muscular synergies are understood as individual phenotypes of sensomotoric system, which are regulated along two parallel pathways, descending signals and sensoric information from effectors at the same time.
The results of our own polyelectromyographic study are presented. They document actual relationships were activation of proximal and distal muscles of upper extremity during uniform motions o acral region holding the gyroscope. Repeated rhythmic motions of the distal part of the extremity are initiated freely, but in the following intervals they are maintained and reflex-regulated by peripheral sensoric inputs generated by servomechanism action of the gyroscope.
In the polyelectromyographic recording the healthy probands proved to have statistically close correlations between activities of the bundle muscles ml serratus anterior and infraspinatus and, at the same time, the activity of more distal extensors of the forearm. In patients with degenerative pathology of the rotator cuff the distribution of muscular activities between acral and bundle muscles was completely different and the apparent decrease of extensor output in the forearm as well as m. serratus anterior was accompanied by prevailing activity of m. latissimus dorsi a trapezius.
The results of the experiment are useful for clinical practice. They show a direct functional relation between the activity of forearm muscles and the activity of the rotator cuff of shoulder. At the same time, the importance of facilitation of musculus serratus anterior for functional renovation of motoric activities of the bundle and acral part of upper extremity havew become obvious.
