Summary
Aging is a process which is manifested at a multiorgan level. The function of the central nervous system (primarily the brain), of the immune, endocrine, cardiovascular and locomotion systems deteriorate with age. The changes which are manifested as aging result from changes originating in the genetic material and changes at the level of hormonal regulation.
