Summary
Glioblastoma multiforme is known for its infiltrative growth into surrounding tissues as well as for dissemination of tumor cells into distant nerve structures via cerebrospinal fluid. Unlike primary brain tumors, clinical presentation of metastasis is sporadic or rare. We present a young man, who developed a clinical manifestation of a rare variant of simultaneous metastasis.
Key words:
glioblastoma multiforme – leptomeningeal metastasis – intramedullary metastasis
The authors declare they have no potential conflicts of interest concerning drugs, products, or services used in the study.
The Editorial Board declares that the manuscript met the ICMJE “uniform requirements” for biomedical papers.
