Atypické depresie – koncepty, diagnostika a liečba
Pojem „atypická depresia“, tak ako mnohé iné pojmy v psychiatrickej terminológii, patrímedzi tie, ktoré sa chápali aj doposiaľ chápu nejednotne. Problematikou atypických depresiísa zaoberali viaceré výskumné tímy (viedenská skupina, londýnska skupina a kolumbijskáskupina autorov), ktoré do istej miery spoločne prispeli k sformulovaniu operacionálnychdiagnostických kritérií pre depresiu s atypickými príznakmi v klasifikácii duševných porúchDSM-IV.

Summary
The term „atypical depression“ is not clearly defi ned. The authors review the historical developmentof this concept. Several research groups (London group, Columbia group, Vienna group) havedescribed some clinical characteristics and predictors of atypical depression and have contributed tothe development of the the DSM-IV defi nition of the atypical features specifi ed for major depressiveepisode.
