Článek podává stručný přehled o fyziologii, biochemii a anatomii cholinergního systému.Přináší informace o některých možnostech farmakologické intervence do cholinergního přenosu.Zmiňuje několik dosud provedených výzkumů s podáváním cholinomimetik u schizofrenie. Zamýšlíse nad teoretickými důvody takového postupu.

The paper gives a brief outline of physiology, biochemistry and anatomy of cholinergic system.The information on some possibilities of pharmacological intervention in cholinergic transfer ispresented. Some investigations with the administration of cholinomimetic drugs in schizophreniaare described. The author analyzes theoretical reasons of such procedures.
