Summary
The authors present two cases of pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta. The first case of a 70-year-old man successfully treated with medium dose of prednisolon and UVA phototherapy. In the second case, an 8-year-old boy, acute eruptions were relapsing for four years. He was treated with narrow-band UVB phototherapy, antibiotics and topical corticosteroids. The authors overview current knowledge on this disease.
