The Investigation of Children before and after Liver Transplantation
Sledovanie detí pred transplantáciou a po transplantácii pečene
Transplantácia pečene je dnes vo svete osvedčená terapeutická metoda u pacientov so zlyhaním pečene. Predňou je dôležité, aby sa pacienti so zlyhaním pečene udržali v čo najlepšom stave, aby boli schopní prekonaťtransplantáciu. Po transplantácii pacient potrebuje doživotnú starostlivosť, ktorá si vyžaduje úzku spoluprácumedzi transplantačným centrom, ošetrujúcim lekárom a pacientom. Autori sa v článku venujú momentálnemustavu starostlivosti o tieto deti na Slovensku.

Liver transplantation has become a generally well-established therapeuticmethod in patients with liver failure.It is important for the patient with liver failure to be in the best condition possible in order to overcome thetransplantation. After the transplantation the patient must be in the all-life care, which requires a close collaborationbetween the transplantation center, the attending physician and the patient. The authors describe presentstate of this care of children in Slovakia.
