A Ra-e Caise of the Intoxicdion from Topicd Applicdion of the Sdicylic Add
Zriedkará príčinaintoxikácie z topickej žplikácie kyseliny sdicylovej
Autoři prezentujú kasuistiku 13-ročného chlapcas vrodenou hyperkeratózou, u ktorého topická keratolytická liečbaviedlak príznakom tkútnej exacerbácie chronickej intoxikácie kyselinou sdicylovou. Zásadným problé-mom v daiom případe bolo zamlčanie údajov rodičmi o predchádzajúcej keratolytickej liečbe. Daný případ poukamje napotencionálnu závažnost' tejto formy intoxikácie, ako aj napotrebu dodržiavania zásad topickej liečby v zaujme prevencie podobných otrav.

The aithors present a čase of a 13-year-old boy with hereditary hyperkeratosis, treated with oinments containing sdicylic acid, who developed clinicd signs and symptoms of intoxication. A major problém in this čase was the incomplete information given by the fanily about his previous sdicylate therapy. This čase points to severe sdicylate intoxication following its topicd application as well as to the importance of proper application of topicd keratolytic treatment
