Summary
Summary: The case report presents a rare malignant tumor of the duodenojejunal junction with generalization in an elderly polymorbid woman, which showed symptoms of high ileus. The tumor infiltrated almost the entire width of the wall with the exception of the mucosa layer and metastatically affected the lymph nodes and the wall and visceral peritoneum. The dia gnosis was determined after surgical resection based on histological and immunohistochemical examinations which proved the positivity of S100 protein and synaptophysin.
