Review on the Pathophysiology, Diagnosis and Treatment of Bone Metastases
PŘEHLED O PATOFYZIOLOGII, DIAGNOSTICE,A LÉČBĚ KOSTNÍCH METASTÁZ
Je podán přehled o nejčastěji se vyskytujících zdrojích zhoubných metastáz do kostí a jejich lokalizaci, o mož-nostech jejich detekce. Část přehledu se dotýká mechanismu usazování metastazujících elementů do kostí a vysvět-luje základní zdroje tumorózní osteolýzy. Nakonec jsou naznačeny některé nové trendy v přístupech k léčbě kostníchmetastáz.

The author presents a review on the most frequently encountered sources of malignant secondaries in bones, ontheir sites and their possible detection. Part of the review deals with the mechanism of deposition of metastatizingelements in bones and explains the basic sources of tumourous osteolysis. Finally the author mentions some recenttrends as regards approaches to treatment of bone metastases.
