Uncommon Cause of Malabsorption Syndrome
Málo obvyklá příčina malabsorpčního syndromu
Kazuistika popisuje případ 59leté ženy, která byla vyšetřována pro nefrotický syndrom, recidivující stenózy dolníduté žíly řešené implantací stentů a těžkou proteinokalorickou malnutrici. Měla makroglosii, mírnou hepatomegalii,výraznou poruchu motility trávicího traktu, v anamnéze operaci pravé ruky pro syndrom karpálního tunelu. Trvalodva roky, než byla stanovena diagnóza. Jednalo se o amyloidózu AL.

Casuistry of a 59-year-old woman is presented. The patient was examined for nephrotic syndrome with relapsingstenosis of vena cava inferior treated with stent implantation and with severe protein-caloric malnutrition. She hadmacroglosy, mild hepatomegaly, severe impairment of gastrointestinal motility, and had in her history an operationof carpal tunnel. It took two years to establish the diagnosis, which was amyloidosis of AL.
