Summary
Fibrous dysplasia is a rare osseous abnormity of temporal bone. The authors describe the case of a casual finding of FD in supposed chronic inflammation of middle ear with cholesteatoma in a patient suffering from multiple developmental defects, where cleft palate of maxilla was related to otological pathology and FD was an accidentally found comorbidity.
Key words:
fibrous dysplasia, cleft palate of maxilla, benign disease.
