Summary
The is more varied and inconsistent terminology that we use to refer to speech-language disorders in childhood. Professor Seeman divided these children to several groups which are demonstrated. At the heart of his interest were disorders with the main symptom of delayed speech development and stuttering. The classification of speech-language disorders was changed with development of modern methods of diagnostics and rehabilitation in children. The article brings over view of actual situation in terminology of speech-language disorders.
