Summary
This case report of 62 years old woman observed and treated in Vascular surgery Dpt. of University Hospital in Pilsen because of small bowel obstruction may be an example of a malignant disease, which can occur after using immunosuppressive drugs.
The reason of the obstruction was strangulation of the small bowel in a peritoneal defect, which was made arteficialy as a treatment of posttransplant lymf-collection. We found signs of malignant disease in peritoneal cavity during the operation, that was verified by biopsy. The patient did not suffer from malignant disease before the transplantation. The origin of malignancy was probably ovarian tumor.
