REHABILITÁCIA A PALIATÍVNA MEDICÍNA
Práca je zameraná na úlohu rehabilitácie v starostlivosti o terminálne chorých jedincov. Napriek všetkým pozitívnym zmenám, ku ktorým došlo v posledných rokoch v tejto oblasti, sa väčšine zomierajúcich jedincov v našej krajine nedostáva adekvátnej kvalitnej starostlivosti. Záver života mnohých z nás je tak zbytočne sprevádzaný bolesťou, osamelosťou, stratou dôstojnosti a ďalšími formami utrpenia. Paliatívna starostlivosť je moderná celosvetovo rýchle sa rozvíjajúca starostlivosť, ktorá kladie hlavný dôraz na kvalitu života nevyliečiteľne chorých a v ktorej dôležitú úlohu zohráva aj rehabilitácia.

Overview
This paper deals with rehabilitation of patients in a fatal condition. Inspite of some changes for better in recent years, care for patients who are about to die, is inadequate. The end is frequently unnecessarily painful. The patients is lonely and his personality suffers among other things from loss of dignity. Palliative care is now developing worldwide improving the quality of life of those who are fatally ill. In this rehabilitation plays an important role.
