Effectiveness of Kinesiotherapy in the Treatment of Eating Disorders in the Czech Republic

Summary
The aim of our experiment was evaluate the effect of kinesiotherapy (psychomotor therapy) on body image in the treatment of patients with eating disorders in the Department of Psychiatry on General University Hospital during four-month interval. There were 10 women with diagnosis anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating. The population is divided by three groups according to diagnosis, at the same time we evaluated the effectivity in the group of patients of the department for eating disorders and the for eating disorders. We used a questionnaire Body Attitude Test (BAT) for the evaluation of body experience and body attitude.
