Summary
Yoga is increasingly recognized as a complementary approach to the treatment of cancer symptoms. Patients / survivors and healthcare providers must be aware of the potential benefits of yoga during and after cancer treatment. The paper is informative character, it presents the conclusions of studies that showed the beneficial impact of yoga in the management of treatment and quality of life of cancer patients. The results suggest that yoga can improve stress, fear during and after treatment of sleep and cognitive disorders. At the same time, it contributes to reducing depression, anxiety and fatigue, increasing quality of life and spiritual well-being, which is a key component in accepting and managing your destiny.
