Summary

The aim of the article is to prove that The Method of Ludmila Mojžíšová has a positive effect on the muscles of the pelvic floor, on menstrual pain and the lumbar spine. Totally, 30 women with dysmenorrhea and lumbar spine pain took part in the clinical study. Using the Method of Ludmila Mojžišová, we managed to positively influence the condition in the area of the small pelvis; there was a statistically significant reduction in pain during menstruation, pain in the lumbar spine and stabilization of the spine so that the sacroiliac joint remained unalterably blocked. We recommend the expansion of cooperation between doctors, physiotherapists, but also midwives and the creation of interdisciplinary teams specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor disorders.
