Summary
MRI examinations have increasingly been used in urological indications thanks to the better accessibility of MRI devices and absence of any known undesirable effects. In some regions such as pelvis minor the accuracy of tissue differentiation of MRI is higher than that of CT; in other regions it provides an element in the ultrasonography - computer tomography - MRI diagnostic algorithm targeting an accurate diagnosis.
