Urological consequences of gynaecological surgeries

Summary
Urological consequences of gynaecological surgeries are associated with anatomical closeness of the internal and external genitalia and the urinary tract. The authors classify the complications into three subgroups: injuries of the urinary system, urologic infections and dysfunction of the lower urinary tract after gynaecological surgery. The authors also deal with the epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis and treatment of the different complications.
