Summary
The recent recommendations of the American Heart Association from June this year emphasized again the negative effects of saturated fats in food and identified them as one of the causes of cardiovascular diseases. The paper mentions that, based on the analysis of information in the specialist literature about the results of relevant studies and their meta-analyses, the relationship between the consumption of fatty acids and the increased cardiovascular risk has not been clearly proven.
