Summary

Isolated left ventricular non-compaction is a rare disorder. There are provided no guidelines for its management. Our case report describes the case of a young woman suffering from syncopes in whom this disease was diagnosed. ICD implantation was recommended due to the occurrence of sudden death in her family, repeated incidence of syncopes and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy with preserved ejection fraction.
