Chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins in young people

Summary

Varicose veins of the lower limbs belong to civilization diseases with typical symptoms. The cause is the rise of venous pressure as a result of valvular reflux or obstruction. The diagnosis is based on medical history, morphological and functional examinations. The treatment is conservative, sclerotherapy and endovascular sclerotherapy, or surgical treatment.
