Prevention of Viral Hepatitis B in Contactsof HBsAg Carriers in the Plzeň Area in 1998
Prevence virové hepatitidy B u kontaktů nosičů HBsAgna Plzeňsku v roce 1998
Během roku 1998 bylo v pěti plzeňských laboratořích zjištěno 128 nosičství HBsAg. V 64,8 % bylpacient v době odběru hodnocen jako „zdravý nosič“. Na základě zjištěné pozitivity bylo rodinnýmkontaktům těchto osob nabízeno vyšetření hepatálních markerů, popř. bezplatné očkování. Nejvíceosob zareagovalo na základě osobního kontaktu s pacientem pozitivním na HBsAg. Postinfekčnímarkery (HBsAg, anti-HBcAg) byly prokázány u 20,6 %, v kontrolním souboru u 5,1 % vyšetřených.Rozočkováno bylo 64 % vnímavých osob. Na základě finančních nákladů studie bylo propočteno, ževyšetření a očkování kontaktů HBsAg pozitivních osob v celé republice by si při použité metodicea obdobné spolupráci vyžádalo částku 46 milionů Kč. Při vynechání laboratorního vyšetřovánírodinných kontaktů by byly náklady cca 75 %.

In 1998 in five Plzeň laboratories 128 HBsAg carrierships were found. In 64.8% the patient wasevaluated at the time of sampling as a „healthy carrier“. Based on the assessed positivity familycontacts of these subjects were offered examination of hepatic markers of free immunization. Mostpeople responded because of personal contact with a HBsAg positive patient. Postinfection markers(HBsAg, anti-HBcAg) were detected in 20.6%, in the control group in 5.1% of the examined subjects.64% sensitive subjects were immunized. Based on the financial costs of the study, it was calculatedthat examination and immunization of contacts of HBsAg positive subjects in the whole republicwould require a sum of 46 million crowns. If laboratory examinations of family contacts were leftout the costs would be cca 75%.
