Summary
ADHD is a common diagnosis in children, characterized by inappropriate level of attention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. The symptoms are chronic and it is not possible to explain them by any other disorder. ADHD is often related to inability keep rules and behavioural problems in general. Parents of ADHD children must be able to cope with the symptoms of ADHD that may cause problems in social environment. It means that families of ADHD children may have specific needs. The article presents pilot research on the question of ADHD families’ specific needs. It provides analysis and also gives further solutions and recommendations.
