MŮŽE HORMONÁLNÍ ANTIKONCEPCE OVLIVNITPLAZMATICKOU KONCENTRACI IGF-1 A IGFBP-1U ŠTÍHLÝCH ŽEN SE SYNDROMEM POLYCYSTICKÝCHOVARIÍ?
Východisko.
Syndrom polycystických ovarií (PCOS) je častá endokrinopatie žen v reprodukčním věku. Etiopa -togeneze tohoto stavu je multifaktoriální a je stále diskutována. Zvažuje se možnost poruchy intraovariálního IGFsystému s vlivem na zrání folikulů v ovariích. Cílem naší práce bylo zjistit u žen s PCOS a zdravých probandek vlivpodávání orálního kontraceptiva obsahujícího nízkoandrogenní progestin na IGF systém.Metody a výsledky. Celkem jsme vyšetřili 14 pacientek a 7 zdravých kontrol, které splňovaly diagnostická kritériaPCOS. Všichni probandi byli vyšetřeni před a po 6měsíčním podávání monofázické estrogen-progestagenovékontracepčí terapie s obsahem 35 mg ethinylstradiolu/den a 250 mg nízkoandrogenního progestinu norgestimátu/den.U pacientek s PCOS došlo v souvislosti s léčbou k mírnému vzestupu bazální inzulinémie (16,3±4,8 vs. 20,8±4,8 mU.l-1, p

Background.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) represents a frequent endocrinopathy among fertile women.Ethiopathogenesis of the syndrome is multifactorial and it is a subject of scientific discussions. Considered is thepossibility of intraovarial IGF system disorder affecting maturation of ovarial folicles. The aim of our work was todetermine effects of peroral contraceptives with low-androgen progestin on IGF system in PCOS patients and healthywoman controls.Methods and Results. 14 patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria of PCOS and 7 healthy controls were included intothe study. All persons were examined before and after six months lasting administration of monophasic estrogen--progesteron contraceptive therapy with 35 mg of ethinylestradiol per day and 250 mg of low-androgen progestinnorgestimate per day.
