Non-invasive Detection of Liver Fibrosis in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C
Neinvazivní detekce jaterní fibrózy u nemocných s chronickou virovou hepatitidou C
Východisko.
Cílem práce bylo stanovení citlivosti sérových testů APRI, indexu jaterní fibrózy dle Fornse a α2makroglobulinu v detekci jaterní fibrózy.
Metody a výsledky.

Summary
Background.
The aim of study, which was supported by grant IGA MZ ČR NR 7814-3, was to determine sensitivity of serum tests APRI, test of liver fibrosis according Forns and α2macroglobulin in detection of liver fibrosis.
Methods and Results.
The cohort study included 30 patients with chronic hepatitis C, all were infected HCV genotyp 1a or 1b. Liver biopsy specimen was evaluated by one pathologist and liver fibrosis was classified according Battes–Ludwig.
Conclusions.
Statistically significant correlation of APRI and α2macroglobulin with the stage of fibrosis was identified; while there was no statistically significant sensitivity of Forns test of liver fibrosis.
Key words:
liver fibrosis, non-invasive detection, chronic viral hepatitis C.
