Summary
In the physical tests in rehabilitation there is frequently a question of consistency and frankness of the tested individual, in other words simulation or dissimulation or aggravation from the patient’s side. Objectification of this phenomenon is very difficult and the available literature indicates that there is no straightforward and unambiguous decision. The authors concentrated on the techniques which are recommended in literature and briefly present their description, basic consideration underneath, their shortcomings and provide their own recommendations. The case is the Waddel’s testes of non-organicity, painful behavior, variation coefficient, comparison of myoskeletal examination with the intervention in working tests, some special techniques for measuring the grip strength, correlation of the pulse rate with pain and, in conclusion, recommend mutual comparison (triangulation) of many factors with a qualified judgment.
Key words:
physical tests, Waddel‘s testes of non-organicity, physical working capacity
