Imaging methods, their benefits to determine the extent of bladder cancer

Summary
If bladder cancer is suspected, tests will be needed to confirm the diagnosis. The gold standard for diagnosing bladder cancer is biopsy obtained during cystoscopy. Radiological imaging methods are an essential parts of diagnosis of bladder cancer. Although the image quality and thus the reliability of these methods is improving, cystoscopy and biopsy is probably the single most importatnt investigation for bladder cancer. The following imagine methods and techniques are available as aids in the diagnosis of bladder cancer.
