Summary
An overview of new anticoagulants – direct thrombin inhibitor dabigatran and direct FXa inhibitors rivaroxaban and apixaban and their indications according to the new Guidelines of the 9th ACCP and professional Societies for the prevention of thromboembolic complications after orthopedic surgery, for the treatment of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism and for the prevention of stroke or systemic embolisation in patients with atrial fibrillation.
