Summary
Colon stenosis is a complication caused by a wide range of gastroenterological, systematic, and non-gastroenterological disorders. Ultimately, bowel stenosis can be a life-threating condition. Wide differential diagnosis may make determining the cause of this pathological condition very difficult. We present a case report describing the case of a 34-year-old male with serious stenosis of the colon, the cause of which remained unclear despite the numerous tests employed.
Key words:
stenosis – bowel ischaemia – Crohn’s disease
The authors declare they have no potential conflicts of interest concerning drugs, products, or services used in the study.
The Editorial Board declares that the manuscript met the ICMJE „uniform requirements“ for biomedical papers.
