Z historie litevsko-českých vztahů v oblasti lékařství
Je prezentována první studie zaměřená na litevské lékařské dějiny, která se pokouší popsat litevsko-české vztahy odzačátku 16. století až do současnosti. Předkládané téma je rozděleno na několik období. Dlouhodobé vztahy meziLitvou a Českou republikou v lékařství vedly nejen k rozšíření profesionálních kontaktů, ale současně i ke sblíženíkultur obou národů.

Lithuanian medical history and the Lithuanian-Czech relation in medicine since the beginning of the 16th centurytill present are reviewed. Regarding the origin of relations and their historical circumstances the theme is categorisedinto several periods.Long lasting relations between Lithuania and Czech countries inmedicine has fostered not only professional contactsof specialists of both countries, but also to the mutual cultural recognition.
