Treatment in the Primary Prevention of Stroke - Still Not Fully Used Option
Léčba v primární prevenci cévních mozkových příhod - stále nevyužívaná možnost
Celá řada studií prokázala, že farmakologická léčba systolicko-diastolické hypertenze i izolované systolické hypertenze starších osob vede během několika let k výraznému poklesu cévních mozkových příhod o více jak 40 %. Výskyt cévních mozkových příhod poklesl v České republice o více jak 40 % v periodě let 1985-2002, což tvoří zhruba dvě třetiny poklesu výskytu cévních mozkových příhod pozorovaných v USA. Přesto se stavem léčby hypertenze v populaci ČR nemůžeme být spokojeni, protože pouze 18 % nemocných má účinně léčenou hypertenzi, tj. TK
